I visit Lowe's often, and usually have a pleasant experience. The staff is always friendly and helpful. However, I was very displeased tonight. I looked up the store hours on Google and it said the store was open from 6 am to 10 pm today. I drove from La Grange to Quincy so I could pick up a few last minute items for my weekend project. I got to the store at 9:20 PM and was told the store was closed (the doors were still unlocked). I asked if I could get my item really quick and was told no because the drawers were closed. This was very disappointing. Shame on you for not updating your store hours on your website (or closing earlier than you should). I took my business elsewhere tonight.
The employees in paint were very helpful and took time to explain the type of products available to best suit my project.
We went to buy a clearance item. Website showed our store had multiple items in stock. Two store associates had to call someone to find out if the store had the item. The second was told they didn't. After he walked away, we turned around, walked perhaps 20 ft and found the item on a clearance cart. It was along a main aisle.
Just spent 15 minutes looking for someone to help in plumbing. Finally called the store and asked for help in isle 15. I waited another 12 minutes and no one came to help! This used to be a good store. On the way out I see a dozen employees just standing and visiting with each other. This place is a joke!
Shaun in the appliance section helped my mother and I select a new washer and dryer. He was kind and patient and answered all the questions we had, and never did he pressure us. Also Kristy and Kim in the paint department were fantastic. Again patient and answered all the questions we had. Kudos to the Lowes team.
