nice venue
We love to go here. The downstairs is restored to time period. Upstairs has many displays and kids activity rooms. Need to go more than once.
Kids are delighted to discover the natural history, dinosaur, and native American displays. Curious adults will love the period antique furnishings, the magnificent architecture, and the careful displays of area history.
Nothing really to see not very much
This place isn't like a lot of other museums...not as much to show..maybe not as much to do...but for a small town museum there is great variety. I rated 5 stars because they have kept a lot of the home original, which i think is awesome. Also, it appeals to both children and adults as it has an entire activity room, and animal area, and gives lots of info on older times, wars, etc. The atmosphere here is wonderful. Homey yet professional. I think they have good prices, great balance, and are doing a wonderdul job.
