We had a fantastic time!! Jennifer did and excellent job coordinating our company trip! She suggested a resort in Riviera Maya and everything was great! They handled the airfare, transfers to/from the airport and the resort accommodations. We had 30 people in our group and the vacation was seamless.
There are also hidden charges in their services. I was notified my airfare cost blank amount of dollars, but after checking my statement on the airline receipt, I was over-charged $60. When I called to see what the $60 was for, I found out it was their hidden charge for helping me. I was fine with paying, but upset that they hid it in the airfare prices. A little too sneaky for me!
Quincy "Discount" Travel. The name says it all. Kind of like going to a 5 and dime store when you're hoping for much better quality product. It is a "discount" travel agency that tells you one thing and then won't admit they are wrong. My husband and I used this "discount" travel business and booked a trip to Rivera Maya and paid them $2,500.00. We told the travel agent two different times we wanted BEACH FRONT property. Is that too hard for them to understand?? Then, after paying in full for this vacation, we googled the property map and saw it was not beach front. Called the "discount" agency and was told being it was all-inclusive that we could use all facilities which meant the beach areas. That seemed alright to us since we were told the beach was only a 5 minute walk. Well, after arriving to Mexico and checking in at the front desk, we were told that the all-inclusive properties beach that was 5 minutes from our hotel was OFF LIMITS and we could only use the other all-inclusive property beach area. The ONLY PROBLEM WITH THAT IS IT WAS 1 MILE AWAY. BEWARE of trusting this travel agency. They do not stand behind what they tell you.
I HATE THIS PLACE! I know a lot of people that have used their services, and quite frankly, their reviews reflect my own. Yes, they can find deals, but unless you actually go in their office and finalize something THAT day, I would reccommend not using them. I always seem to get the run-around over the phone. I was assigned a person but right before I booked my vacation, she went on vacation, without notifying me. I had to go through the WHOLE procedure again with another agent just to get me to the same spot. I thought maybe it was a fluke and tried their services again. I was assigned a different agent (one I had previously not talked to) and while I told her I was in a hurry to get quotes, she has waited 3 days to call me back. I am fed up and will be using another service....hopefully one that wants some business.
Company continues to violate the Can-Spam Act of 2003. In 2008 I requested to be removed from their email marketing list. 2013 and I am still receiving the emails, even after they guaranteed I would never get them again.
Wish I would have read the reviews!! What a disappointment!! Hope you close your doors soon!!
Please note I'm not hard to deal with, just a common travel that wants to be informed of all options so that I can compare. Apparently they don't like that...they like to make the decisions FOR YOU! Beware! BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!
